"And Now for Something Completely Different"
I'm Not Talking 'Monty Python's Flying Circus' U Wanks.
This is middle eastern jive meets western booty bass.
A Fusion of the Traditional Sounds of Turkey & the Far East
with Exhilarating Electronic Beats and Grooves.
"BELLYDANCING BREAKBEATS 2k16"
Banging breakbeats, more banging breakbeats,
and plenty of touches of Turkish flava mixed
with the freshest in contemporary styled breaks.
20 Tracks Total, 7 Original Mixes, 8 Oojami Tracks + 5 Remixes
Featured tracks are from the original debut album
titled Bellydancing Breakbeats (2002)
from London-based club band Oojami.
Necmi Cavli, the man behind Oojami, knows his stuff,
there's no doubt of that; what melodies he uses are certainly authentic
and offers an intriguing blend of Middle Eastern and Turkish music
that begs for deeper exploration and some playful experimentation.
Great for clubs and a guaranteed two inches off the waist for belly dancers,
but definitely not for casual listening.

thx for the mixx
I went digging through my dusty cd collection to find these Oojami tracks. Something I picked up as an import back in the day. Also dusted off the Gemini CDJ-700's and plugged into the Pioneer DDJ-SX2 DJ Controller to do a little dual format mixing. I hope y'all enjoy as this was playtime for me.
